How Does Cialis (Tadalafil) Work?
Cialis (Tadalafil) belongs to a group of medicines called "PDE5 inhibitors". It is an almond shaped yellow tablet with strengths of 10mg or 20mg. It is an oral tablet, which is swallowed. For Cialis (Tadalafil) to be effective sexual stimulation is required and so Cialis (Tadalafil) will not create an erection unless a man engages in sexually exciting activity.
Cialis (Tadalafil) works by helping the blood vessels to the penis to let more blood flow. This helps to create and keep an erection. This increased blood flow is achieved by relaxing the blood vessels that supply blood to the penis.
Cialis (Tadalafil) can work for up to 36 hours, so allowing the man suffering with erection problems to take the tablet plenty of time before he wishes to have sex. Cialis (Tadalafil) should be taken at least 30 minutes before the man wishes to have sex.

Is Cialis (Tadalafil) Safe?
Yes - but only a properly qualified doctor can tell you that for sure.
You should not use Cialis (Tadalafil) if you are allergic to Tadalafil or if you are taking nitrate medicines such as Nitroglycerin or if you take any medicine that contain nitrates.
Cialis (Tadalafil) is not for everyone. Tell our doctor about your medical conditions and all medications, and ask if you're healthy enough for sexual activity. Don't take Cialis (Tadalafil) if you take nitrates, often prescribed for chest pain, as this may cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure. Don't drink alcohol in excess (to a level of intoxication) with Cialis (Tadalafil), as this may increase your chances of getting dizzy or lowering your blood pressure. Cialis (Tadalafil) does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.
The most common side effects with Cialis (Tadalafil) were headache and upset stomach. Backache and muscle ache were also reported, sometimes with delayed onset. Most men weren't bothered by the side effects enough to stop taking Cialis (Tadalafil). As with any Erectile Dysfunction treatment, in the rare event of priapism (an erection lasting more than four hours), seek immediate medical help.
